Trabectedin Powder Injection is antitumor drug which is prescribed for treatment of soft tissue sarcoma & ovarian cancer. Trabectedin is known for having chemical formula C39H43N3O11S with molecular weight of 761.84 g/mol. It is administered via intravenous route and has excellent protein binding ability of 94 to 98%. This injection is metabolized in liver with help of CYP3A4 and shows elimination half life of about 180 hours. It is excreted mostly in feces and assures targeted mode of action. Trabectedin Powder Injection is said to work by reversing transcriptional program of myxoid liposarcoma and blocking DNA binding of oncogenic transcription factor.
